The National Police has arrested 'in fraganti' a 20-year-old man, with a police record, for a crime of robbery with force in Arrecife. The individual was arrested thanks to citizen collaboration, as it was a neighbor who saw, in the early morning, how someone was forcing the door of a food establishment and called 091 to give the warning.
Several agents of the Citizen Attention Group of the Local Police Station of Arrecife went to the area and, once at the scene, located an individual who "matched the characteristics of the perpetrator provided by the citizen," explains the Police.
After verifying that the access door to the establishment was "fractured" and obtaining confirmation from the owner, the agents proceeded to arrest the alleged perpetrator. Once the corresponding report was prepared, the detainee was brought to judicial disposition and subsequently released with charges.
