The Local Police of Tías has arrested and brought to justice an individual for an alleged crime of Insults and Resistance to Agents of the Authority.
According to a police note, police officers arrested I.B.R., a native of Tías, 38 years old, on the morning of August 14.
The events occurred when the individual rebuked the agents, who were on duty in the area of Varadero de Puerto del Carmen, where a fair was being held on the occasion of the recent festivities.
The aforementioned subject began to rebuke and insult the agents, gesturing airily and shouting. Although the agents indicated that he should stop his attitude, he continued to disturb the peace and when the agents approached him to identify him, he offered great resistance, so he was arrested, instructing him the corresponding proceedings to later make him available to the Judicial Authority.
On the other hand, the Local Police of Tías arrested in the early morning of August 14, S.D., a native of Morocco, 21 years old, for a crime of alleged injuries.
Apparently, the events occurred when this young man attacked two young people for no apparent reason who were in a leisure venue in the Varadero area of Puerto del Carmen. He caused a small bruise in the area of the right cheekbone to one of the victims and caused injuries of various kinds to the other by violently inserting a finger into an eye, and from which he had to be treated in the Emergency Service of the General Hospital.
For this reason, S.D. was arrested and transferred to the police station, where the corresponding proceedings were instructed for his subsequent appearance before the court.
