A 40-year-old man from Bulgaria was arrested in the early hours of July 6, after participating in a fight in an establishment in Tías. The events occurred at around 1:30 a.m., when 112 notified the Local Police about the altercation. As a result of the fight, a 68-year-old man was injured, and his alleged aggressor was arrested.
In addition, the agents of the Local Police of Tías, in collaboration with the Civil Guard, have arrested three other people in recent days for various robberies committed in the municipality.
The first occurred on July 2, when B.N., a native of the United Kingdom, was arrested for his alleged participation in a theft. According to the Police, he entered an apartment in a tourist complex that was open, stealing a total of 300 euros and a mobile phone from inside.
Two days later, on July 4, H.L., a native of Morocco, was arrested for an alleged robbery with force inside a tourist complex. According to the agents, the detainee stole a 32-inch television, two digital photography cameras and a total of 180 euros in cash.
Subsequently, on July 5, A.B., a native of Morocco, was arrested for the theft of a wallet and a mobile phone from a British tourist. The affected party reported that, in an oversight, his wallet with 230 euros and a phone valued at 500 euros had been stolen, and the police arrested the alleged perpetrator the following day.
The detainees, together with the instructed proceedings, were placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
