The Civil Guard of the Main Post of San Bartolomé has charged, on September 24, a person with initials L.A.S.S. and a resident of the municipality of Arrecife, with an alleged simulation

of a crime, by filing a false report of theft of a mobile phone in the Civil Guard facilities.

The investigation began with the complaint of L.A.S.S., who stated that, on the 15th of this month, some unknown persons had stolen her mobile phone when she was at the festivities of the Pilgrimage in honor of the Virgen de los Dolores, in Tinajo.

Agents of the Civil Guard initiated a series of investigations to clarify the facts, verifying that, in addition to finding out that L.A.S.S. had lost her mobile phone during the aforementioned festivities, on September 17, the accused had taken out insurance with a certain company, in such a way that she allegedly simulated the crime of theft in order to acquire a new mobile phone with the complaint she filed in the Civil Guard facilities.
