A 58-year-old man was rescued this Friday on the beach of San Juan, in Famara, where he was being dragged by the current after entering the sea.
The Local Police of Teguise was activated by 112 and the agents who went to the area were the first to act, together with the lifeguard of Famara, as reported by the City Council.
After the rescue, the man, a tourist of Scottish origin, was evacuated to the Molina Orosa Hospital
