La Recova is one of the spaces located in the heart of Arrecife that has become the perfect setting for some cultural groups as a reference to exhibit their musical projects.
A cozy space that meets all the conditions for artists such as the one presented last Friday night by two great soloists consolidated in the musical section such as Manuel Estupiñán and Ciro Corujo who presented 'From the Root to the Earth'.
On this occasion they had three great music teachers such as José Vicente Pérez on the timple and bass, Adrián Niz on the guitar and Acorán Ramos on the bass.
The public that completed the allowed capacity was able to enjoy a whole show where the quality of the work exhibited was rewarded with applause throughout the concert. Without a doubt, once again Manuel and Ciro showed that when you work and take care of the smallest details, such good results are achieved.
In the hand-to-hand between Ciro and Manuel, the public was able to enjoy a wide and varied musical repertoire covering various genres which, with their own arrangements for this concert, managed to sound different such as the bolero, the ranchera or the tango, without forgetting the music with Canarian roots, reflecting the malagueña, folía and isa with the traditional tonality in the old way, compositions that are part of the Canarian popular songbook such as 'Sombras del Nublo' or 'Tamadaba', legacy of the composer Néstor Álamo.
'From the Root to the Earth' conquered the public due to the closeness of its vocalists Manuel and Ciro and the complicity of José Vicente Pérez, Acorán Ramos and Adrián Niz, authentic professionals available when it comes to improvisation that takes a live show. At some moments of the concert, the very enthusiastic public joined their voices to those of the soloists, even drowning out their voices at times. The experience was liked, musicians, soloists and the public enjoyed an unforgettable evening for many.
