Turismo de Canarias will participate in seven tourism fairs in the last quarter of 2022 in the cities of Barcelona, Valladolid, London, Rome, Paris and Vienna. In this last capital, the tourist offer of the archipelago will be presented for the first time at the “Lebenslust” fair, between October 19 and 22, an event aimed at tourists over 55 years of age and that fits into the plans to diversify travelers on the islands.

"Our intention is to continue participating in the main tourism fairs and include new events in which we believe we can position the islands”, highlighted the Minister of Tourism of the Government of the Canary Islands, Yaiza Castilla, who explains that this is the case of this meeting in Vienna dedicated to travelers over 55 years of age, since “they are people who are in good health, feel young and also have economic potential, which means they can consider longer stays in the Canary Islands.”

Also in Vienna, on November 12 and 13, Turismo de Canarias will attend the “Photo + Adventure” fair, to attract travelers looking for adventures, in its strategy of presenting a more diverse offer. The islands will show their most exotic side to promote themselves as a destination for adventure trips, experiences in nature and photography.

These events are added to the Paris fair, between September 20 and 22; Intur in Valladolid on national destinations, between November 17 and 20; and the Wold Travel Market fair in London from November 7 to 9. This last meeting is considered “fundamental to maintain the leadership of the Canary Islands among the British public”, the archipelago's main market.
