Seven establishments in Lanzarote join the quality in service. The Chamber of Commerce and the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (AENOR) presented the new certificates this Tuesday.

The companies that have obtained this recognition are 7 Camicie, Nutrición Canarias, two establishments of Informática Lanzarote and three of The Aloe Vera House. On the island, there are already 34 establishments accredited with this seal.

The Chamber has reported that this seal offers an advantage to the establishments that obtain it, which is the differentiation from their competitors and the loyalty of their customers. The standard evaluates numerous aspects inherent to the activity carried out by the shops, such as courtesy, security, accessibility, incident management, complaints and claims or the continuous improvement system, among other aspects.

The certification is characterized by its ease of application, however it is essential to comply with the requirements that are required to obtain it. Thus, an AENOR auditor visits the establishments posing as any customer. This is the "Mystery Shopper" who checks if the premises comply with the requirements of the standard.

Businesses that achieve the certificate can display the "N AENOR de Servicio" brand in their shop windows, advertising or brochures, which means a differentiation from the competition and recognition by customers.

The certification certifies that the shops in Lanzarote comply with the strictest quality requirements contained in the Spanish standard. "This project has been possible thanks to the effort of the Lanzarote Chamber, the Canary Islands Government and the shops, which have seen in the certification a solid support for improving their competitiveness," said José Luis Mataix, director of Aenor in the Canary Islands.

The Lanzarote Chamber of Commerce has encouraged the rest of the island's companies that have not yet obtained their quality certificate to apply for it in the next edition. For this they can get information at the Chamber's offices or by visiting the website www.camaralanzarote.org
