Last Monday, the Lanzarote Ireland Network (LIN) was presented in Arrecife, a collaboration network that aims to create strong commercial and tourist ties between Ireland and Lanzarote.
The objective is to bring together people related to business, culture and sports with a common link, thus creating a large community from which a return can be obtained for the society of the various activities carried out.
LIN also aims to play an important role in youth exchanges between families from both Atlantic islands, so they will support activities developed by the Atlantic Youth Trust Charity, with a philosophy based on sustainability and environmental protection.
The event, held at the Arrecife Gran Hotel, brought together Irish businessmen, as well as representatives from the public and private sectors of the island.
In addition, given the proximity of the celebration of St. Patrick's Day, the event paid tribute to the patron saint of Ireland. It should be noted that the most representative activity of LIN is the St. Patrick's Regatta, where participants can obtain the Kilcullen Business Post Trophy.
Founded by Business Post Group and led by Catherine Noone, former senator of Ireland, this new community has the support of the real estate agency Lanzarote Investments, John Killeen, Catlanza, directed by Roisin McSorley, Lanzarote Weddings by Ann Leneghan and Kilcullen Kapital Partners, by Enda O'Coineen.
