A reader has reported that on the morning of last Saturday when his partner and his two-year-old daughter went to eat churros in a well-known cafeteria in Arrecife, they found a scouring pad in the food.
According to what he has reported on social networks and has also sent to this newsroom, his daughter was having a chocolate when she choked because she was choking on something. "It turned out that there was a scouring pad in the chocolate," he said.
The father, who was not at the scene at the time, called the cafeteria and explained what had happened. "Instead of receiving an apology, I received excuses that the guys cleaning hadn't noticed," he stressed.
"I showed up at the place and exactly the same thing happened, a lady who works there told me that I didn't need to shout and I told her that if it seemed normal to her that a two-year-old girl had to be choking on that filth."
