A reader has contacted La Voz to express their discomfort, after the City Council announced in March 2011 that it would create a new park in Altavista, and it has not yet seen the light.
This resident of the Arrecife neighborhood [already wrote to La Voz in November 2010->45738] asking for a children's park with games to be built. "It seems that some fruit was borne, but we are still waiting," this woman points out in her letter.
In March 2011, according to this resident, the Arrecife City Council announced that six new parks would be created in the neighborhoods of San Francisco Javier, Argana and Altavista, precisely on Jacinto Benavente street. However, five months have already passed and the residents of Altavista still do not have their park. "How much longer do we have to wait to see our children smile and play on a swing near home," she asks.
