Vega Martínez and Eduardo Curbelo from C.D. Pingüinos of Arrecife, selected for the Spanish children's Championship by Autonomous Federations of artistic swimming that will be held in Alicante this weekend.
The RFEN is betting for the first time on a Spanish artistic swimming championship by Autonomous Federations.
There are 12 autonomous communities that will meet this weekend at the Camilo Cano Swimming Pool, La Nucia, Alicante, with a total of 72 swimmers, who will compete in the modality of figures, solos and duets.
Our swimmers Eduardo Curbelo and Vega Martínez will compete in the individual modality of figures, male solo and will partner in the mixed duet representing the Canary Federation, which will be completed by another 8 swimmers from Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
The swimmers traveled on Wednesday morning to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, to do some training prior to the trip, with the entire selected team and fly together to Alicante this Friday.
The swimmers will be accompanied by their coach and technical manager of the Federation, Sara Gijón, as well as other artistic swimming coaches from the Canary Federation and will return home on Monday night.
