The UD Lanzarote squad returns to training and will begin preparing for next Saturday's match against CD Santa Úrsula, corresponding to the twentieth round of Group XII of the Third Division.

This Tuesday's work session will be marked by the incorporation of a new player, the midfielder Kilian Benítez who has committed to the red and white team until the end of the current season.

Kilian Nicolás Benítez Rodríguez, born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 1995, performs perfectly in defensive tasks to disrupt the opponent's game and also when it comes to developing the game in the wide area of the field.

He trained in the lower categories of UD Las Palmas, signing in his second year as a cadet for Deportivo de la Coruña. After his time with the Galician team, he returned to the yellow team as a youth player, debuting in the Third Division in the 2012/2013 season with Unión Viera. He has also defended the shirts of Real Ávila, Real Sporting San José, CD Marino, CD Móstoles, Panadería Pulido San Mateo and SD Tenisca.

He started this season at Atlético Paso, not debuting with the team recently promoted to the Third Division and returning to SD Tenisca. With the team from La Palma, he has played a total of 15 games this season, all of them as a starter, being on the field for 1,289 minutes and scoring one goal.

Kilian Benítez is scheduled to join UD Lanzarote's training this afternoon and be under the orders of Jero Santana. The player's federative file will be available for next Saturday's match against CD Santa Úrsula, scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Argelio Tabares.
