The UD Lanzarote squad began their training week this Tuesday in a different way, remembering the young Leticia de las Nieves Tavío Flor, who passed away 10 days ago. The red-and-white players attended a zumba class, and in this way paid their particular tribute to this young woman, who died while practicing this sport in the zumba group of the UD Lanzarote Cafeteria.
The event took place on September 6 at the UD Lanzarote headquarters. "The death left the managers, coaching staff and players of UD Lanzarote completely dismayed, who joined in those difficult moments the pain of the family, friends and relatives of the young woman," the club said in a statement.
For this reason, the first team of UD Lanzarote wanted to pay their particular tribute to Leticia, with that zumba class, which served to start the week of training and begin preparing for the match next Saturday against UD Telde, corresponding to the fifth day of the Canarian group of the Third Division.
