It was not a good match played by UD Lanzarote and CD Tenerife “B” on Sunday morning, a match that ended in a goalless draw. The first half was for the white and blue subsidiary and in the second half the game of the red and whites improved, although without being able to have much depth in their attacking actions.
The first part of the match was marked by equality and inaccuracies in the game that the two teams were trying to develop. One of the few dangerous chances was for the Tenerife four, with a shot by Aythami from inside the area that was answered by goalkeeper Alejandro.
After reaching the break with a goalless draw, UD Lanzarote took a step forward in the second half. It only took three minutes to generate its first dangerous chance, with a cross from Ayoze Pérez from the right wing that was headed by Javi Morales without finding the three posts.
UD Lanzarote was also able to generate danger in the second half with set pieces. In the 68th minute, Miguel Gopar was in charge of executing a free kick from the right side, Matheus headed inside the area and goalkeeper Ale Medina responded with a good intervention to avoid the goal.
With the goalless draw, the match came to an end, with UD Lanzarote adding a point that allows them to move up one place in the standings. Next week, the red and whites travel to Tenerife to face CD Buzanada.
