The Tías Town Council congratulates the Vóley Playa Grande club for organizing the eighth round of the Canary Islands Volleyball Federation's Minor League Winter Tournament in Puerto del Carmen. Playa Grande became the hub of regional grassroots volleyball with the participation of 73 teams from Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Palma, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.

This is the first time that the Federada Winter League has been held in Lanzarote.

The teams participating in this Canarian circuit are Net7, Canteras, La Barra Volley and CV. Overblockmaspalomas (Gran Canaria), CV. Hispania and Voley Area (Teneife), CV. Auritaviva (La Palma), CD Dragones (Fuerteventura) and the host CV Playa Grande (Lanzarote).

The winners in the women's category are Candela/Sofia, followed by Aida/Aidita and Carmen/Thiara. In the men's category, Buly/Mateo won, followed by Aitor/Iker and Raul/Toño, while in the children's pairs, Francisco/Felipe won, followed by Unai/Misa and Sofía/Víctor.

As reported by the organizing team, represented by Raúl Perdomo, all the finals were broadcast through their Youtube channel cvp.Playa grande. The organizers thanked the Tías Town Council, through the Departments of Sports, Tourism and Beaches "for the support to this event that is held for the first time in Lanzarote", as well as the Island Sports Service of the Cabildo, Lanzarote Tourism and various sponsors.
