Tías congratulates 13 players from CB Puerto del Carmen for reaching the podium in the Spanish Championship

The mayor, José Juan Cruz, the second deputy mayor, Nicolás Saavedra, and the sports councillor, Sergio García, received the players this Monday in the plenary hall, congratulating them for their victories and the quality of their game.

Tribute ceremony to the 13 players of the Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen Handball Club

The Tías Town Hall offered this Monday afternoon an act of homage and recognition to the 13 players of the Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen Handball Club who recently took the podium at the Spanish Championship in the cadet, children's and youth categories.

The mayor, José Juan Cruz, the second deputy mayor, Nicolás Saavedra, and the sports councillor, Sergio García, received the players this Monday in the plenary hall, congratulating them for their victories and the quality of their game. The work of the board and the players' families was also highlighted.

The players honoured are the 9 children's players who have been 3rd in Spain with the Canary Islands team in the Spanish Championship for Territorial Teams: Ingrid and Amaia Barrachina, Amelia Alexia and Najara Ángeles Gabaldón, Neysa Curbelo, Leyre González, Martina Lemes, Adriana Reyes and Daniela De Marco together with the coaches Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Santana and his assistant, Andrea Rodríguez.

The Tiñosera cadets who were proclaimed champions of the Cesa Copa de España Cadete Femenina were also acclaimed: Zaida Armas, Dalia Pérez, Dana Calero and Nayra Gil together with the youth player Carla Rodríguez. There was also evidence of the great work done by Rosa Álvarez, who actively participated in the successes of the Canary Islands children's team.
