With English punctuality. At 07:00 hours the nineteenth edition of Ironman Lanzarote has begun. An edition in which registration records are broken and more than 1,500 triathletes have started. Hours before, the avenue of Puerto del Carmen has been a coming and going of triathletes of all nationalities. 38 countries are represented in this year's edition, with Spain being the country that contributes the most triathletes.
