Emotion, tension, intensity and even alternatives on the scoreboard were some of the elements enjoyed by the fans who came to Titerroy. On this occasion, the coin fell on the side of CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife, prevailing in a heart-stopping final by 27 to 25 against CB Zonzamas CICAR Lanzarote.

From the beginning of the match it was clear that it was going to be a duel full of emotion and that the small details were going to tip the duel to the side of either team. The first few minutes were full of alternatives on the scoreboard, with very few advantages for either team in these early stages of the match.

After the first half, CB Zonzamas CICAR Lanzarote took a two-goal lead (7-9), forcing David Betancort to call the first time-out of the match. The batateras players, with greater dynamism, were quite successful in the attacking actions and the locals could not find a way to hurt the solid defense of the rival.

The two-goal difference was maintained until the final minutes of the first half, with the wingers of CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife being in charge of putting the equality in the electronic. Esther de Miguel and Anja Bojanic made it 13-13 at the end of the first 30 minutes of the match.

The second half started in the best way for the interests of CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife, acquiring a two-goal lead with the goals scored by Anja Bojanic and Mizuki Hosoe. The clarity of ideas of the locals was fading as the minutes passed, a circumstance that CB Zonzamas CICAR Lanzarote took advantage of to tie the match with a 7-meter shot by Brenda Roger and take the lead with a goal from Lucía Chacón from the pivot.

CB Zonzamas took advantage of Petra Jersek's exclusion to acquire a two-goal lead, and have plays to close the match with less than ten minutes to go (19-21). Although Anja and Nagore Saenz established the

draw, the batateras with six minutes left were still two goals up on the scoreboard, thanks to the goals of Brenda and Gleinys (22-24).

The time-out requested by David Betancort was fundamental to clarify the ideas of his players, and on their return to the court they once again put the equality in the electronic. The final minutes of the match were full of alternatives, and an excellent save by Ana Martín to Mizuki seemed to tip the match to the visitors' side.

CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife became strong in defense, which allowed them to steal a ball for Nagore Saenz to culminate a quick counterattack and Esther de Miguel closing towards the center forced an attacking foul by the visitors. Adina Ghidoarca ended up sentencing the match, putting the final 27 to 25.
