The Lanzarote driver Raúl Hernández has already won his first title at the age of 15, virtually taking the Sport category in the Canary Islands Circuit Speed Championship.

After the second round of the Canary Islands Circuit Speed Championship, the classification currently adds a total of six rounds with individual scoring, which gives him the title virtually after having won all six rounds in the Sport category with the Mosan Motor Toyota Corolla.

The championship consists of nine events in total, with the last three pending, which will take place in November, but which the young Lanzarote driver will already do as the winner of the Sport category.

First title with only six competitions

Raúl continues his learning in the complicated world of sports motoring where, despite his young age and after having only done six competitions, including rallies, slaloms and circuits, he already has a title in his record.

A sample of his progression are the spectacular head-to-head fights with more powerful mounts and much more veteran drivers, such as the one experienced with Manuel Acosta (Toyota MR2), fighting to the last centimeter of the track and without any incident on the track. Regarding the times set, his record for the starting grid was 1:14.788, which he already improved in the race, leaving it at 1:14.694.

With the title already in his possession, the intention of the entire team is to continue his career at the Maspalomas Circuit to continue learning, so he will be present at the last event of the year on the Gran Canaria circuit in November.
