The Arrecife City Council congratulates Hecher Sosa for his sporting triumph in Sweden

Hecher won the belt last Saturday in the 'Fight Club Rusheste', and already has eight victories and only one defeat as a professional in MMA

The Arrecife City Council conveys its congratulations to Hecher Sosa for his sporting triumph, achieved this past weekend in Sweden. The mayor of the city, Yonathan de León, has shared the congratulations of his hometown for this athlete trained in the Los Alonso neighborhood, in the capital of Lanzarote.

Hecher Sosa won the 'Fight Club Rusheste' belt this past Saturday, after defeating the Finn Tuomas Grönvall. A fight that took place at the Quality Hotel Friends in Solna, Sweden.

Sosa won the three rounds being able to knock out his opponent. As the media reports, he assures that "I said some time ago that no one was going to stop me, since I get up until I go to bed I work for this" Sosa, a native of Arrecife, declared after winning and proclaiming himself in the bantamweight division.

Hecher already has eight victories and only one defeat as a professional in MMA. This triumph could mean the entry of the 'Guanche Warrior', as he is known in this sport, to the UFC.

Mayor Yonathan de León, and the Councilor for Sports, Eli Merino, felt proud to see that Hecher Sosa was covered by the Spanish flag, and after his triumph, on the same podium, he displayed the flag with the logo of César Manrique, emblem of Lanzarote as a destination, together with his family.

De León highlighted that Hecher Sosa de la Rada "is an example of tenacity and effort. He works and fights for what he likes. He is demonstrating it with his achievements and sporting triumphs."
