The 43rd Orvecame-Isla de Lanzarote Rally has been plagued by road departures, crashes and rollovers since the morning, which even forced the neutralization of TC3.
The most serious incident that could have ended in tragedy took place in the morning in TC 6 in Las Nieves, when a car almost ran over two spectators. The man and woman were transferred to the hospital, although La Voz has learned that the injuries were not serious.
Another accident occurred in TC 3, when another car rolled over several times. Both the driver and the co-driver were able to leave the vehicle on their own and were transferred to the hospital where they remain under observation, according to sources close to the family to La Voz.
And in the penultimate stage there was also the incident of Toñi Ponce and Pedro Domínguez with the Hyundai, where the driver was the most affected. The firefighters took him out together with the seat by medical prescription and was later evacuated to Molina Orosa where he is under observation although it is confirmed that he has no fracture.
