Saúl Coco from Lanzarote will continue to be part of UD Las Palmas, after signing a renewal with the club until 2025. The young 23-year-old central defender will have a professional contract in the first team from next season.
Saúl Coco accumulated a total of 785 minutes this season, spread over eleven games throughout the year. The central defender from Lanzarote became a starter in the final stretch of the season, although a shoulder injury prevented him from being under the orders of García Pimienta in the last and decisive matches, including the promotion play-off against CD Tenerife.
The central defender, who has dual nationality, played this year in the Africa Cup with Equatorial Guinea, in a historic performance in which they reached the quarter-finals.
