On Saturday afternoon, CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife welcomed Uneatlántico Pereda, with the sole objective of adding the victory and consolidating in the upper area of the Women's Gold Honor Division standings. After a fairly even first half, the San José Obrero women's team staged a majestic second half to defeat the Cantabrians by thirteen goals difference (31-18).

The first minutes of the match were marked by equality, with very few advantages enjoyed by both teams. CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife raised its usual 6:0 defense, not letting Uneatlántico Pereda find gaps for easy shots. The visiting team took the initiative in the electronic in the first few minutes.

After the first half, Esther de Miguel culminated a quick counterattack to put CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife ahead on the scoreboard (7-6). The game of the locals began to grow as the minutes passed, with Miriam Páez transforming a seven-meter shot and Leticia Cobos scoring from the pivot to put 10 to 7 on the electronic.

The Lanzarote team managed to maintain the three-goal lead acquired until the break. At the end of the first 30 minutes of the match, the score was 11 to 8, a result that demonstrates the defensive solidity shown by CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife in the first half, although also its problems in attack.

CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife began to tip the game to its side in the first minutes of the second half. The period began with a 3-0 partial in favor of the locals, with Miriam Páez scoring from seven meters and Petra Jersek and Mizuki Hosoe culminating two quick plays, to establish 14 to 8, having to request the coach of Uneatlántico Pereda a time out.

With a fast game and taking advantage of the slow defensive retreat of Uneatlántico Pereda, the best minutes of CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife were being seen on the court. The advantage rose to ten goals in just ten minutes, with Mizuki Hosoe penetrating, Nagore Saenz culminating a counterattack and Esther de Miguel scoring from the left wing (20-10).

The match was practically sentenced in the middle of the second half, reflecting the score a difference of thirteen goals (25-12). The Lanzarote team was disarming the opponent based on speed in their attacking plays and a solid defense that allowed them to recover balls quite easily. Anja Bojanic, Miriam Páez and Nagore Saenz were in charge of establishing the maximum difference in favor of the locals.

Triumph by 31 to 18 of CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife against Uneatlántico Pereda, a result that allows the team led by David Betancort to be placed in the second position of the Women's Gold Honor Division standings. The next rival of the Lanzarote team will be Balonmano Morvedre.
