Some blows that served to gain confidence and especially to awaken a public that did not hesitate to take his side.

Cantabrian Iván Salcines endured the onslaught of "Tiburón" during the first three rounds. Salcines demonstrated that the fact of being proposed as a candidate by the Spanish Boxing Federation was not the result of chance, but rather his good work in the ring that had earned him the last six fights, two of them by KO.

From the fourth round, Robert Hilario "Tiburón" began to increase the pace of his boxing, which was characterized by explosive blows that broke the opponent's guard. The good defense that "Tiburón" made was worth to counterattack and take advantage of the carelessness left by his rival. In the sixth round, "Tiburón" left Iván Salcines practically groggy on the ring and it began to be seen that the fight would not reach the tenth round.

The fight would end in the seventh round. Robert Hilario "Tiburón" forced the machinery to the point of knocking out his rival against the ropes. The referee of the fight, Ignacio Conejero, stopped the fight when Iván Salcines put his knee on the canvas and proclaimed Robert Hilario "Tiburón" the winner by Technical KO. A triumph that allows Robert Hilario "Tiburón" to successfully defend the "Super Middleweight" champion belt and do it with his people from Lanzarote.
