One of the most followed mountain races in the Canary Islands, the Famara Total, will be able to receive registrations until next Sunday. Thus, it is through a website where all the information is located about the routes and a direct way to register for the eighth edition that will be held from August 24 to 26.
For the Sports Councilor of the Teguise City Council, Alejandro Ramírez, this test means a benchmark in the island's trail, "not only because it is perfectly designed and organized, but because it takes place in a magnificent enclave." Specifically, the PP councilor highlights as "spectacular" the development of the Vertical Famara Total "which, being limited in the number of participants, has become a challenge that many want to experience."
Given the high participation that has been registered in previous editions, in the different programmed routes of 45 km, 30 km, 15 km, 7.5 kilometers and hiking, it has been decided to remember the possibility of using the public service in the displacement of the participants or the public who wants to come and enjoy this festive and sporting atmosphere. In this way, the company Intercity Bus has recalled that interurban lines 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 are available to reach the event venue.
The Famara Total is a test organized by the Teguise City Council, Cronoline Eventos, SICAN and K3 Servicios Deportivos Integrales, and has the collaboration of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, European Sport Destination and Promotur.
