CF Panadería Pulido San Mateo and CD Unión Sur Yaiza drew this Sunday in Gran Canaria (1-1), in the first leg of the second round of promotion to the Second Football Federation.

The local team dominated the first half, although they could not go into the break with an advantage, but they found the reward of the goal in the second half with a perfect header from Santi Salgado from a cross from Raúl Sosa from the right wing in the 53rd minute.

Salgado himself could have increased the orange team's lead three minutes later but his shot crashed into the post.

From the possible second local goal, Unión Sur Yaiza equalized in the 69th minute, with a strong left-footed shot from Enrique Castaño from outside the area that went in next to the right post of Álex Guanche's goal.

The team from Conejero went on to dominate the match and came very close to taking the victory with a direct free kick on the edge of the area that Enrique Castaño sent to the post.

The final result forces Panadería Pulido to win next Saturday at the Municipal de Yaiza, and repeat what they did in the previous round against UD Lanzarote, whom they defeated 0-1 in the Ciudad Deportiva de Arrecife after drawing, also to one goal, in the first leg in San Mateo.
