The Muyay Decoraciones de León, owned by Nano Negrín, is heading to the Island of La Palma to take part in the XX edition of the Canarias Madeira International Regatta, organized by the Clube Naval do Funchal, in collaboration with the Real Club Náutico de La Palma.
The Muyay Decoraciones de León, from the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife fleet, will participate in the classic international regatta with a crew that highlights the youth of its members. The most veteran are the skipper Nano Negrín himself, Alfredo de Quintana and Alberto Carballo, together with the young members of the team Carla Negrín, Alejandra Estévez, Felipe Rojido, Borja Peñas and the youngest of the boat, Nano Stinga.
The boat will depart for La Palma on Wednesday the 29th at night and expects to arrive at the Isla Bonita in the early hours of Friday. There they will remain, finalizing the preparations for the regatta, until Tuesday the 4th, at 12 noon, when the start of the race will be given, which will have just over 20 participating boats, which will have to make a high seas route of around 280 nautical miles to the city of Funchal, in Madeira.
The Muyay is the current Spanish Champion of high seas regattas, Canary Islands Zone and was the absolute winner of the last San Ginés International Regatta.
