The crew of the Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea racing team of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife formed by Miguel Ángel Morales Hernández and Alejandro Martín Corujo, won the title of Spanish sailing champions in the 420 class in the under 17 category. In turn, they occupied the third place on the under 19 podium.
One of the most promising crews of the RCNA, which closed the Spanish Championship in Cádiz winning the last regatta, achieved its second partial victory after 10 races held after having also won the third regatta.
With this new title, Miguel Ángel and Alejandro extend their successes of the season in which they had already been proclaimed champions of the Spanish Cup and the Canary Islands Cup in their under 17 category.
The RCNA participated with four crews in the Spanish Championship, Fernando Benítez and Andrés Betancort achieved 6th place in the under 17 men's category, in women's in the same category Marina Armas and María García were 7th. In the under 19 men's category Andrea Stinga and Gabriel Gallego were classified 14th.
