The Magec Tías Against Gender Violence once again achieved an important victory at the Paquillo Fernández Pavilion against Grupo Hafesa Raca Granada, by a score of 48 to 52.
The match was tough and physical for the players of the Lanzarote team, who, displaying great mental strength, were able to play head-to-head against the Nazarí team.
The match started with many doubts in attack for Aday Villalba's players, but little by little they gained a foothold on the court until concluding the first quarter with a score of 14 to 10.
Equality was the dynamic in the first half, despite that hesitant start, confirmed by a partial score of 13 to 13 in the second quarter, which sent the players to the locker room with a score of 27 to 23.
The key to the match lay in the third quarter. Magec Tías came out strong in defense and with clear ideas in attack, to the point of turning the match around with a partial score of 6 to 14. Displaying a good physical condition, without succumbing to fatigue despite the limited rotation capacity, Aday Villalba knew how to play his cards well and have them express what had been worked on on the court.
Playing as a team in attack, being intelligent, playing with the result, and being solid in defense for 40 minutes stopped the good players of the rival, to close the match with a score of 48 to 52.
This victory is the fifth of the 2018/2019 season, leaving Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" in tenth position in the league, with a 3-win difference from the relegation zone. The next match for the Lanzarote team will be the first of the second round, against Asisa Alhaurín de la Torre next Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Malaga.
