Defeat of Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" against Hierros Díaz Miralvalle, leader of the Women's League 2, who during parts of the match saw the advantage they had acquired on the scoreboard since the first quarter in danger.

The equality of the first minutes was gradually broken as time passed, where the Extremadurans took advantage of the shooting errors that the local team was committing, reaching the end of the first quarter with a score of 14 to 26. The team coached by Jesús García had serious problems defending the attack of the American Amy Griffin, who from the beginning emerged as the leading player of the Cáceres team.

In the second quarter, the local team tried to adjust the defense they were making to the visitors a little more, managing to make the rival's star player less active, which allowed the locals to cut the difference somewhat. However, again Hierros Díaz Miralvalle began to take advantage of local errors when looking for shots, thanks in part to a strong defense that prevented clear shots at the basket. The score of 24 to 39 at halftime was not positive for Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence", pending a second half where the red and black team is doing better this season.

Once the players were on the court and some errors were corrected, Jesús García did not stop asking his players for intensity, who went all out from the lateral serve. Little by little, the Lanzarote team reduced the differences on the scoreboard, with a lot of offensive contribution from everyone, but also with great defensive work that allowed the stealing of several balls that translated into danger for the rival scoreboard.

The only thing that the Lanzarote team was missing was to win the rebounds, especially under the Extremaduran basket, where they became powerful to rectify all those errors committed and that ended with local shots. Despite this, and the load of personal fouls of important players in the local team such as Yaiza García or Carolina Mateo, the difference was reduced to 10, 40 to 50, with one quarter remaining for the conclusion of the match.

In the last quarter, the Lanzarote team came out again to give it their all and managed to break the psychological barrier of 10 points difference. The visiting bench tried to play with the tempo of the match, while looking for solutions so that the match would not escape them. The locals, supported by their public, saw the possibility of turning the match around closer and closer.

Time was passing inexorably and this hurt the local team, who crashed into a defensive wall that made it impossible to complete the comeback, concluding the match with a score of 56 to 64.
