Lanzarote Tías Yaiza will represent the Island of Volcanoes for another year throughout the peninsular territory. The Silver Division, which will soon be renamed the second division to establish symmetry parameters with football, will be made up of 19 teams distributed throughout the national territory in the 2010/2011 season.

Yesterday, the rules and regulations of the competition were established, as well as the definitive elaboration of the category and its calendars. The conejero team will play its first match at home against Pozo Ciudad de Murcia, the Lanzarote team's coach, Julio Mougan, made a first analysis and spoke about the calendar, "although it is good to start at home, it is too early to know if we have been lucky with the draw, ElPozo is always a very difficult opponent, all subsidiary teams are complicated teams and even more so at the beginning of the League since many of their players have done the pre-season with the first team", in relation to the calendar he added "we cannot know at this time which rivals are going to be stronger since the squads are being put together and we have to be very prudent, we have to worry about ourselves and have a good pre-season to be up to the task at the start of the competition".

After the Assembly, all the comments were aimed at the hardness of the season, full of matches and with practically no days of rest. Unlike the previous one where 28 days plus the Play Off were played, in the current one 38 plus play off will be played, to which we must add those corresponding to the recently established Copa del Rey and which will depend on the rounds that are overcome.
