Sunday for the children
On the morning of this Sunday, the protagonists were the little ones with the celebration of the Yaiza Extremo Sur Kids. In the area of La Degollada in Yaiza, the organization designed different MTB and trail circuits adapted by age so that boys and girls could enjoy a sports day with their friends and family. All participants received a medal, applause and big hugs from their loved ones who were waiting for them with a big smile after the finish line. Councilor Ángel Lago accompanied the youth in this day dedicated to the little ones.
The fifth edition of the Yaiza Extremo Sur was again a success, being the only race on the island that combines trail running and bike in the same event. In addition, this year the routes offered participants the contrasting landscapes of Lanzarote from north to south.
Yaiza Extremo Sur is a test of the Yaiza City Council, organized by Cronoline Eventos Canarias, which has the collaboration of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Government of the Canary Islands. Yaiza appreciates the support of all the entities, volunteers and security forces committed to the test, as well as the encouragement and joy of the fans.
