La Haría Extreme, one of the four scoring events of the Spanish Mountain Racing Cup in 2013, was presented these days in one of the most important scenarios in the field of international races of this type, the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB).
Thus, during four days of work, representatives of the northern Town Hall, with Mayor José Torres Stinga at the head, were present in the city of Chamonix (France) with an information stand. This world fair brings together almost fifty of the most relevant competitions in this demanding sport, in countries such as Japan, USA, Senegal, Morocco or Russia, along with brands such as Salomon, Norh Face or Adidas, in what "is a prominent promotion campaign for the Haría Extreme", according to the Town Hall.
About 5,000 people passed by the stand of the race that takes place in the north of Lanzarote, receiving detailed information about it and a informative bracelet of the event, "which has turned the municipality of Haría into the epicenter of the national mountain race calendar, and which has already aroused the interest of athletes from different parts of the world".
As explained by the Consistory, "during the fair, meetings and contacts have taken place with different brands and companies in the sector, as well as with prominent international runners who participate in both the UTMB and other parallel events also present at this fundamental event".
In addition, they assure that "it is not an isolated action" and that "this promotion campaign of the Haría Extreme will continue in future events and fairs of the sector, such as the one that will take place next October in Catalonia, considered the most important meeting that is held in Spain every year".
