Haría CF had a good preseason debut. The northerners prevailed on Friday night against CD Corralejo and obtained their pass to play the grand final of the XX Juan Morales Cáceres Memorial. Haría maintains the block from last season, did not renounce its classic style of play and that was enough to beat the Majoreros 2-1.
Haría CF barely took three minutes to take the lead on the scoreboard. The play started in the center of the field, with a ball stolen by the men in midfield. Radamet put a pass between the lines for Yemsen and he, with a shot adjusted to one of the posts, scored the 1-0.
CD Corralejo tried to react to the early goal scored by Haría. The best chance for the Majoreros came in the 13th minute. Fali controlled a ball inside the area, but Igrail, skillful in reflexes, was quick to react and throw himself at Fali's feet to snatch the ball.
An unfortunate play by the Haría defense cost them the equalizing goal. In the 21st minute, after a cross to the heart of the area, David Castellano did not understand his goalkeeper Igrail, touched the ball with his head and the ball ended up sneaking into the back of the net.
The joy of the tie barely lasted three minutes for Corralejo, the time it took Haría to get back in front on the scoreboard. After a free kick from the center of the field, Yemsen took advantage of the passivity of the Corralejo defense to control the ball inside the area, turn around and beat Jero with a mid-height shot.
Until the end of the first half, the dominance corresponded to CD Corralejo, approaching with danger to the vicinity of the goal defended by Igrail, but on occasions these plays did not culminate in shots on goal. With the 2-1, the end of the first half was reached.
The second 45 minutes were developed under the same course. Ball possession for CD Corralejo and little depth in the attacking actions of the Majorero team. For its part, Haría did not renounce its classic game; organized and well armed in defense and look for the attack taking advantage of the speed of its most advanced players.
CD Corralejo barely disturbed the Haría goal. One of the few dangerous occasions occurred in the 71st minute. After a quick counterattack, Isaac controlled the ball inside the area on the left side and his shot went excessively high.
In the end, victory for Haría CF by 2-1 against CD Corralejo. Haría will play this Saturday night, at 8:30 p.m., the final of the XX Juan Morales Cáceres Memorial against UD Lanzarote. Tinajo and Corralejo will star in the consolation final starting at 6:00 p.m.
