Gourmet Ampate Lanzarote did not have an easy match on the Automanía Luceros court, having to work until the last second to add the two points that were at stake and not lose sight of the top classified teams of the First National Men's League. The Lanzarote team complicated their lives in the last two minutes, seeing how the rival got into the game despite having a three-goal lead.

The match did not start well for the interests of Gourmet Ampate Lanzarote, conceding a 3-0 partial score and taking just over five minutes to pierce the rival's goal. Acoidán Martín was in charge of scoring the first goal for the visitors, but things did not improve and Iñaki Malumbres had to request the first time-out when barely ten minutes of the match had been played.

The instructions from the bench helped the Lanzarote team get into the game, achieving a 0-3 partial score with goals from Joel Armas (2) and Anderson Caycedo and tying the score (6-6). It had to be the coach of Automanía Luceros who requested the time-out to stop the rival's reaction.

With nine minutes left until halftime, Gourmet Ampate Lanzarote took the lead for the first time on the scoreboard and went to the end of the first thirty minutes of the match with a two-goal advantage. The score of 9 to 11 was reached at the end of the first half.

The second half began with a more plugged-in Gourmet Ampate Lanzarote, starting the period with a 1 to 4 partial score and obtaining the maximum lead up to that moment (10-15). The coach of Automanía Luceros had to request a time-out so that the match would not escape him in the first minutes of the second half.

The Lanzarote team was ahead on the scoreboard throughout the second half, although the Galician team did not give up and reduced the differences. With two minutes left, Oscar Silva scored a seven-meter shot to put the score at 21 to 24, but the match was not decided. Automanía Luceros scored two goals and even had the last attacking play to tie.

With the score of 23 to 24, the end of the match was reached, with Gourmet Ampate Lanzarote adding a hard-fought victory and rising to fourth place in the standings with 16 points. Next match, San José Obrero receives OAR Coruña, a match that will be played on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the IES Blas Cabrera Felipe.
