Successful participation in a new edition of the Arrecife 2019 Beach Handball Tournament, an event organized by the Department of Sports of the Arrecife City Council and which had the collaboration of CB San José Obrero. Lanzarote handball met at El Reductor beach, saying goodbye to the summer and now focusing on indoor handball. "Fua Seguros Axa" and "Ay mi madre" were the champions in the senior category.
The tournament began to be played from the first hour of Saturday morning, with two matches being held simultaneously throughout the day, on the two courts installed on El Reducto beach. The children and cadets were the first to play their matches, giving way during the afternoon to the youth and senior category matches.

Sunday morning, from 09:30, was reserved for the dispute of the semi-finals and finals of each of the categories. All this with a stands full of spectators and with the musical atmosphere of DJ Aitor Alonso. The tournament was attended by 40 teams and a total of 64 official matches were played. The honor roll of the Arrecife 2019 Beach Handball Tournament was as follows:
Women's Infantil: Ensaladilla Canaria (Champion) ? Panchitas Team (Runner-up)
Men's Infantil: Hakuna Matata (Champion) ? San José Obrero
Women's Cadet: Ensaladilla Canaria (Champion) ? Las Submarinas (Runner-up)
Men's Cadet: De squí pa el agua (Champion) ? Chamberga Tortoise (Runner-up)
Women's Youth: The Last Piña (Champion) ? Las Batareras (Runner-up)
Men's Youth: Canilleras Abigail (Champion) ? Royal Academy (Runner-up)
Senior Women: Ay mi madre (Champion) ? Hakuna Matata (Runner-up)
Senior Men: Fua Seguros Axa (Champion) ? Lajillas Team (Runner-up)
The Arrecife 2019 Beach Handball Tournament concluded with the presentation of trophies to the first two classified in each of the categories. An act that was attended by the mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, accompanied by the capital's Sports Councilor, Roy González, and the president of the Canary Islands Handball Federation, Blas Parrilla.
The event was organized by the Department of Sports of the Arrecife City Council, with the collaboration of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, CB San José Obrero, Insular Handball Federation of Lanzarote, Canary Islands Handball Federation, Canary Islands "Latitude of Life" and Lanzarote Biosphere Reserve.
