Fernando Alonso has left Lanzarote this Wednesday, where he has been physically training for a week at the Club La Santa facilities, together with his teammate, Felipe Massa. The team, which arrived on the island on a regular flight, has left on a private plane.
The Ferrari team arrived on the island on January 25, with an expedition of 25 people. Along with Alonso and Massa, two test drivers, Jules Bianchi and Davide Rigon, came.
During this week on the island, the drivers have been able to practice different sports, such as mountain biking, soccer, table tennis, canoeing, as well as working in the gym and on the beach, as stated on the Ferrari website.
"The Lanzarote campus was not only aimed at improving physical condition, which is absolutely vital in a demanding sport like Formula 1, but it was also an important exercise in team building, both because of the competitive nature inherent in all drivers, stimulated to work harder and with the right spirit, and because spending time together strengthens the friendship between them," Ferrari publishes.
This Friday, February 3, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa will take part in the launch ceremony of the new Ferrari single-seater, which will take place at the Fiorano circuit.
