Gourmet Ampate Lanzarote was able to conquer the victory on the court of Granitos Ibéricos Carballal, turning around a match that had become uphill in the first minutes after a too cold start by the Lanzarote team. On the verge of halftime and in the first minutes of the second half, San José Obrero opened the gap on the scoreboard, although facing a Galician team that never stopped fighting to try to surprise.
Gourmet Ampate Lanzarote started the match too cold, conceding a partial score of 4 to 0 in the first four minutes, with goals from Pablo García (2), Iván Soage and Alejandro López. Nikita Liavonau was in charge of piercing the goal of the Galicians for the first time with an outside shot, which allowed the Lanzarote team to gradually get into the game.
The 6:0 defense of San José Obrero began to nullify the attack of Granitos Ibéricos Carballal, and in attack the Lanzarote team began to mature its actions little by little. After the first half, Nikita Liavonau was in charge of establishing the tie (8-8), having to request a timeout from the Galician coach.
After the instructions from the bench, the local team returned to take the reins of the match, scoring through Rodrigo Mariño and Iván Soage, to gain a two-goal advantage. Gourmet Ampate Lanzarote tied the match in the final minutes of the first half, and went to halftime with a one-goal advantage after Nikita Liavonau's goal in the last seconds (13-14).
Granitos Ibéricos Carballal began the second half with a numerical disadvantage due to the exclusion of Pablo García at the end of halftime, a circumstance that Goourmet Ampate Lanzarote took advantage of to take off on the scoreboard. The partial score in these first minutes was 0-4, with goals from central Mikita Bence (2) and wingers Antonio Llopis and Nikita Liavonau (13-18).
The Galician team was not willing to throw in the towel and began to play with a mixed defense on Nikita Bence, forcing the visitors to have more mobility in their attacking actions to find gaps in the defense. The advantage was reduced as the minutes passed, and Jesús Casanova requested a timeout to organize the ideas of his players.
After the halfway point of this second half, Granitos Ibéricos Carballal was able to tie the score (21-21), a tie that served for San José Obrero to react. In just five minutes, the Lanzarote team achieved a partial score of 0-5 (21-26).
The Galician team approached slightly, which forced Jesús Casanova to request a new timeout to stop the reaction. The match was definitively broken in the minutes remaining until the end, with an exchange of goals in one and another goal, and the defenses were giving more facilities to the attacks.
With the score of 29 to 33, the match came to an end, with Gourmet Ampate Lanzarote adding its third victory of the season, which allows it to continue in the upper area of the Men's First National League standings.
