Unión Sur Yaiza suffered on Sunday noon the first home defeat of the season, after falling 2 to 3 against CP Cacereño. The southerners were able to get ahead twice on the scoreboard, with goals from Moha and Fabricio, but in several minutes of bewilderment in the second half, the Extremadurans turned the score around to take the three points that were at stake.
The match began with the dominance of Unión Sur Yaiza, and that's how the team led by Maxi Barrera took the lead in the 17th minute. In a corner kick executed by Fabricio, Moha controlled the ball inside the area, accommodated it and with a shot with his left foot he put the ball through the squad.
It only took Cacereño five minutes to put the tables on the scoreboard, in an unfortunate play for the Yaiza defense. Viñuela went inside on the right, tried to give way to Álvaro Salinas and Víctor López in the attempt to clear ended up putting the ball into his own goal.
The first half concluded with a new goal for Unión Sur Yaiza. Ismael Traoré, a player who replaced his teammate Pablo Bolado, went inside on the left, won the back line, and put the pass back for Fabricio to finish into the back of the net. With the 2-1 score, the break was reached at the Municipal de Yaiza.
Unión Sur Yaiza had chances to increase the difference in the first minutes of the second half, with offensive actions by Ismael Traoré and Marco Siverio. When the third was closer, Cacereño's equalizing goal arrived. Nauzet Pérez lost the ball to Chris's pressure, and the Extremaduran player finished into an empty goal to tie the score.
Shortly after, Cacereño had a penalty in their favor and the shot by Álvaro Salinas was stopped by Nauzet Pérez to correct his previous mistake. And in an unfortunate play for Aitor Molina in which he was seriously injured, Cacereño continued the play and Chris scored the third for the visitors to turn the score around.
Unión Sur Yaiza locked their rival in the final minutes of the match, and had chances to tie. A ball crossed from the left was headed by Marco Siverio and the ball was repelled by the post. And when six minutes had passed over the regulation time, Jordan was disallowed a goal when he finished from inside the area for offside.
