Although participation in the Rally Comarca Norte of Gran Canaria was not initially planned, the Padaman Sport team, this time composed of Antonio Estalella and Juan Monzón, as they could not be present at the Rally Villa de Adeje, wanted to compete in this event of the Provincial Asphalt Rally Championship of Las Palmas.
“It will be a tough race due to the high temperatures expected, but we will try to do our best in this special year for Toyota Canarias. All the sponsors deserve the effort we make in each race and, as we could not be at the past Rally Villa de Adeje, we have decided to be at the Comarca Norte and continue competing with the GR Yaris, which we already have under control, and the latest results obtained with this fun and spectacular car are proof of this” Estalella commented in the lead-up to the race.
