The UD Lanzarote squad returned to training on Tuesday afternoon and began preparing for Sunday's match against Atlético Victoria. The first training session of the week was marked by a good atmosphere, after adding two consecutive victories, although aware that they must continue working to climb positions in the Third Division standings. The Rojilla infirmary continues to be full of players.
Midfielder Alex Yunes will be out for two or three weeks due to a grade two ankle sprain. The player was injured last Sunday in the match against UD Las Zocas, having to withdraw from the field before the conclusion of the match. Once the relevant tests have been carried out, he has been diagnosed with a grade two ankle sprain and it is estimated that he will be out for two or three weeks.
The first training session of the week was marked by the absence of several players who did not train due to physical problems. This is the case of defender Carlos Rosa, who has physical discomfort due to a blow. It is expected that the defender will join the group's work this Wednesday. For his part, David Dorta limited himself to doing exercises in the gym of the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote.
Midfielder Gustavo García and full-back Taja have already joined the group and if everything goes normally, both players can be used by Fabián Rivero for Sunday's match against Atlético Victoria. Javi Morales will miss this match as he has to serve the second match of suspension imposed by the Competition Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
The UD Lanzarote squad will train again on Wednesday afternoon. The work session will take place from 8:00 p.m. in the facilities of the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote.
