Ciudadanos is the force that has come to regenerate political life not only in Spain and the Canary Islands, but also in Lanzarote. I have always believed that "if you can dream it, you can do it", because it is possible and, above all, it is necessary for Ciudadanos to govern in the Cabildo and reach the Presidency leading the highest institution on the island. From Ciudadanos Lanzarote we want to demonstrate that there is another way of governing, based on a political management of center, liberal in the economic and progressive in the social.
One of our priorities is to promote the increase of the Hospital's category to level 2 so that it has more specialties and services, so that all Lanzarote residents have the same opportunities as the inhabitants of the capital islands in terms of care and services.
We are going to carry out the Island Plan of Lanzarote, an essential tool for the sustainable development of the island, and the Special Plan of La Geria, so that our winemakers and farmers have legal certainty.
Not only are we not going to hinder the creation of wealth and employment from the administrations, but on the contrary, we are going to facilitate it, because we are going to support entrepreneurs, the self-employed and small and medium-sized businesses, with concrete and direct measures that facilitate the creation of jobs and boost economic dynamism.
To the tax reduction measures that Cs will take at the regional level, the Cabildo will join with direct measures financing the costs of incorporation of a company and the expenses of new workers during the first year, with the possibility of extending it longer so that those who have a project and want to carry out their personal and professional dream are not overwhelmed.
We are already preparing a specific and concrete plan that we will implement to streamline the administration, making it more efficient, without endless procedures and waiting time, so that residents receive effective attention with quick answers, and to get the numerous investment projects that Lanzarote needs and that are eternalized in the middle of the endless bureaucracy.
From Cs we want the next generations of Lanzarote residents to be bilingual, and we are also going to fight to expand the offer of Dual Vocational Training, Intermediate and Higher Degrees, equating it to the capital islands.
These are just some of our proposals, to which we should add the commitment to the primary sector and the consumption of local products, the conservation of the landscape, the modernization of public transport and facilitating access to housing, among other issues.
From Ciudadanos, and on behalf of all my colleagues, we want to thank the people of Lanzarote for the trust they gave us in the last general elections, because it confirms that the population wants a change,
With their support, Ciudadanos will be the dam that will stop the old policies that the PSOE, the PP, CC and the PIL (which is now presented with the name of LAVA) have practiced on this island, that is, those who have been governing for 25 years and who have not been able to solve the daily problems that the population of Lanzarote has.
For all this, we ask you for a new opportunity next May 26, because we want to show you that if we can dream of a better island, we can achieve it together.
