This Monday, the inauguration of the exhibition The Armed Forces with La Palma “Operación Cumbre Vieja” took place at the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, which can be visited until October 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The event, which began at 10:00 a.m., was presided over by the general chief of the Canary Islands Air Command Juan Pablo Sánchez de Lara, and was attended by civil and military authorities, representatives of the Armed Forces, Civil Guard and Real Club Náutico de Arrecife.

The exhibition consists of 11 photographic totems, each of them highlights the participation of the Army, Navy, Air and Space Force, UME, Civil Guard, Canary Health Service and Red Cross in the emergency caused by the eruption at Cumbre Vieja in La Palma. In addition, visitors will be able to view this collaboration in a short video.

This photographic exhibition aims to pay tribute to "the great work" carried out by all the people, institutions, organizations and associations during the volcanic emergency in La Palma, and those who are still working.
