The Yaiza City Council has published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC) the approval of the regulatory bases and the call for applications to temporarily fill, in voluntary service commission, two positions in the Local Police. The deadline for submitting applications is ten days from the publication of the call for applications this December 31.
The town council has published this call due to the circumstances of "urgent and unavoidable need". Thus, applicants for the two positions of officials of group C1, of the Special Administration scale, must have a baccalaureate, professional training or an equivalent title, as well as be a career official and belong to the same professional classification groups as the vacant positions.
The City Council has reported that "it is not viable" for the council to carry out a selection process within the Local Police and that they must fill these positions through the designation of career officials from another corporation.
These contracts in commission of service will have a maximum duration of six months, but may be extended up to 18 months if the following call remains vacant.
