The Yaiza City Council will install a climbing wall with an exterior monolith in the Parque del Mediterráneo in Playa Blanca, thus improving the facilities in that leisure area. To this end, the tender has already been published this Monday on the contracting platform of its electronic headquarters.
"Apart from the construction of new sports infrastructures, such as the Playa Blanca Sports Hall, we are improving existing facilities for healthy leisure, such as the Parque del Mediterráneo, making better use of its space and satisfying a demand transmitted especially by our young people,” said the mayor, Óscar Noda.
The objective is to provide the sports complex with an outdoor climbing area with a concrete monolith, which will occupy an approximate area of 140 square meters built. The mayor of Yaiza and the Councilor for Sports, Ángel Lago, visited the location of the future climbing wall this Tuesday.
