The Governing Board of Yaiza, presided over by the mayor, Óscar Noda, resolved this Monday to grant a major construction license to LIDL Supermarkets for the construction of a retail sales center of approximately 11,000 m² with parking in the Montaña Roja Industrial Zone, in the town of Playa Blanca, "very good news for consumers in the municipality of Yaiza, which also confirms the confidence of investors in the Public Administration," as stated by the southern leader.
Óscar Noda also informs his neighbors that "Club Lanzarote, with whom LIDL negotiated the plot, has the commitment to develop urbanization works such as roads, sidewalks, canals and lighting, among others."
The mayor maintains that "the implementation of a new sales area for essential products is important, and even more so now in these times of terrible inflation, because the consumer's behavior is to buy in different stores according to the prices of the product they need, but equally it is comforting that our municipality, and specifically Playa Blanca, is the object of a new and significant private investment."
