The Tías City Council has launched a video tutorial that already has more than 1,400 views on Facebook, after verifying that "many citizens have difficulties starting the process of requesting the digital certificate", which is necessary to carry out administrative procedures with public institutions.
The Department of New Technologies, managed by Kalinda Pérez, has promoted this initiative to help the residents of Tías, and all those people who need it, to obtain the software certificate on their computers and thus facilitate the necessary procedures with the administrations.
"The digital certificate allows you to carry out a large number of online procedures. Although interpersonal procedures were already being replaced by electronic procedures, the State of Alarm and the consequent closure of institutions to the public has triggered queries about the digital certificate," says Kalinda Pérez.
The video disseminated by the Tías City Council explains in detail the steps to be taken to request the digital certificate and download it to the applicant's personal computer, emphasizing that the electronic signature will require using the same internet browser.
