The Tinajo road will be open to traffic for the Los Dolores festivities. This was confirmed by the Councilor for Public Works of the Cabildo, Sergio Machín, who specified that the work is not finished. "It is with road signs and you have to be careful."
Even so, Machín pointed out that the opening of this road "is important, because the current one is very narrow, passing through La Vegueta and Yuco and that does not give sufficient guarantee."
The Councilor for Public Works of the Cabildo has also referred to the works on the Tahíche road, and has stated that only the connection of the lighting and landscaping remains pending, as well as covering the median that separates the two roads with granite. "I think it will be worth the wait, because it will have an exquisite urban treatment."
However, Machín has not given a deadline for the completion of the works. "When talking about deadlines, it makes me laugh when other people do it and it embarrasses me when I do it, because I know it won't be met and that indicates little seriousness for the user. That work should have been finished a long time ago, but due to some factors or others, it has not been completed."
