The PSOE of Teguise celebrates the approval of all the initiatives presented to the last plenary session held last Thursday in the Convent of Santo Domingo, in the royal and illustrious Villa de Teguise.
The socialists describe as "full to fifteen" that "for the first time in these three and a half years of mandate, the absolute majority of the Canary Coalition government supported the three motions presented, when the usual thing has been the systematic rejection of the more than one hundred proposals debated," says the PSOE councilor, Jenifer Galán.
"We do not know if the cause was the Christmas spirit or the aroma of farewell from Mayor Oswaldo Betancort, who will go to the Cabildo in the next elections, but we celebrate the good news because with the materialization of the measures it will help the municipality to move forward," says the mayor.
"In this way, the improvement of accessibility in municipal facilities and their surroundings; the firm commitment to trees for the beautification of urban frameworks, planting three trees for each one that is cut down; and the firm condemnation of gender violence saw the light," they point out from the socialist ranks.
"Apart from the precedent, which we hope will be repeated, the most important thing is that the agreements reached are carried out for the good of the municipality, even more so when the initiatives had the unanimous support of the members that make up the corporation," concludes Jenifer Galán.
